This fantastic book is about a past mental hospital person moving back to Russia or- as id like to say: Society. An "innocent" and empathic being into the blind, dusty, bleak and arrogant industrial society. Witnessing the horrid and terrifying enviorment of bleakness and ignorance. This gives you super good perspective on the values of God, kindness, and coldness. Dostovesky claimed that he was quite hurried writing this work so thats why it can come across as very hurried and somehow unfinnished. I love that Dostovesky usually tackles some problem or question that he has and he tries to solv it trough his stories and characters. I brawled my eyes out many times reading this masterpiece, its a precious jewel and i see that this is quite relevant in todays world.
